Winkworth Arboretum

Located on a dramatic hillside with a lake below, Winkworth Arboretum is the jewel in the crown of Busbridge Parish.

The Arboretum's 46 hectares are home to rare and unusual trees and provide scenic walks throughout the year.

Highlights during the year at Winkworth include a carpet of bluebells in the late Spring and the amazing changing colours in the Autumn. There is also a Family Day in September every year where local crafts and businesses meet the local community.

Originally founded by Dr Fox, Winkworth Arboretum has over 100,000 visitors each year and is owned and managed by the National Trust.

The Arboretum offers free parking, a cafe and disabled facilities.
